Davies makes two new gay dramas


Russell T Davies is set to come returning to discovering contemporary gay lifestyle with two new sequences for Route 4. The designer of the innovative Queer as Individuals, who was also the man who cut returning Physician Who, is establishing the new sequence in Birmingham, which was the place for his past honest and hard-hitting programs. Casting for the programs known as Cucumber and Bananas - which will start shooting in the springtime - has not yet been verified. Cucumber will be tested by Route 4 and follows a personality in his mid-40s known as Gretchen whose relaxed, resolved lifestyle with his partner unravels after a crazy evening out. Bananas will be proven by E4 and moves around some of the numbers in Henry's lifestyle.


In inclusion there will be an on the internet sequence known as Tofu, which will act as a sex information, in reaction to the topics protected in the experiences weekly. Channel 4’s goes of dilemma, Piers Wenger, said: "No-one can look into the core of recent connections quite like Russell and, across Route 4, E4 and on the internet; he shows an unflinching and forensic symbol of how our sex lifestyles impact us all. It might be 15 decades since Queer As Individuals, but he has created it more than value the delay.
